Sansui

There are no lines, only veil. The landscape dissolves, but remains in the memory of the gaze. Sansui: mountain and sky as a single fusion.

Artistic description:

With an earthy palette and a soft, almost vaporous brushstroke, Sansui evokes the atmosphere of a landscape forgotten by direct light.
The suggested forms appear as if seen through a dream, or through thick fog. The technique blurs the contours to merge
mountain, sky, and water into a single plane, a single breath. It is a work that references the classic aesthetic of Eastern ink painting, but reinterpreted from a contemporary materiality and the characteristic silence of the collection.

Sansui (山水), a Japanese (and also Chinese) word that literally means “mountain and water”.
