Yügen I, Yügen II, Yûgen III, Yügen IV

What is not seen, but felt. The space between forms, between gesture and silence. Yūgen: dark, inexhaustible, suggested beauty.

Artistic description:

Yūgen unfolds like a subtle presence amidst the gloom. The matter is contained, worked with delicacy, yet revealing an internal strength that is not fully expressed.

The muted tones and the play between filled and empty create an atmosphere of introspection. It is a work that wishes to be perceived like a cold breeze passing through.
It evokes the idea that the deepest beauty does not impose itself: it is intuited, found in darkness, in imperfection, in what hangs suspended in silence.

Yūgen (幽玄) (I, II, III, IV) is a Japanese aesthetic concept that refers to a subtle and profound beauty.
