First presence of a living darkness, where silence is dense and light absent. A nature that does not burst forth, but breathes beneath the snow and shadow. Here the cold begins: here Gèlida is born.

Inaugural work of the Gèlida collection, this piece presents a textured, almost volcanic mountain emerging from thick snow, crafted with a pasty and dynamic texture.

The contrast between the dirty white and deep black creates a silent tension, evoking nocturnal, inhospitable landscapes full of presence.

​

The dark sky does not threaten: it contains. The mountain does not explode: it remains. It is the zero point of a bare, contemplative, and powerful nature.
